Monzingo gave report on Andy Powell’s Wife

Thomas reported on Firefighter of the Yeay and, firefighters’ Auxiliary,

President Wilson reported on Anthony Webb Application for membership, Battle of the Badges proceeds, $1000 donation to Andy Powell, Local paid for food to cook for Powell family, minimum maning going to 51, February PFFA Convention,

New Business

• Motion to make BW Greemon an honorary member passed unanimous

 

• Motion to make Ray Shelton an honorary member passed unanimous

• Motion to adjourn, passed unanimous

Monzingo gave report on Maddox funeral

President Wilson reported on annual fish fry and awards presentation, light duty schedule change, retiree insurance proposal, Fire Chief’s task force

New Business

• Motion to present civil service resolution to state association at convention passed unanimous

   

• Motion to deny membership application at this time for Anthony Webb, due to failure to complete required questionnaire, passed unanimous

Two nominations for Firefighter of the year were read

• Members voted by secret ballot on nominations; George Craft was selected for the Firefighter of the Year award.

• Motion to adjourn, passed unanimous
